Hi, I've had pain in my lower left abdomen for about 2 years. It started off as a really dull ache which I wasn't concerned about, but now it is really sore and very painful. I have been to see my GP so many times about it. They kept telling me I had IBS. I eventually went to see a different GP and she referred me to hospital for a colonoscopy because I also suffer from diarrhoea and bleeding occasionally. She was concerned that I've had this pain for about 2 years. This was in September. The hospital eventually rang me up nearly 2 weeks ago and asked me some pre-screening questions. They then told me that someone will contact me in the next couple of days to arrange my appointment. I'm still waiting for this phone call. Any advice would be really appreciated. Thank you.
