I was getting changed last night and found a bruised raised lump on the side of my breast. It's the first time I have noticed it and it's not causing me any pain but I am really really worried. Does anyone know what this could be?
You may well have knocked it, or a bra may have pinched an area. This is not a common symptom of breast cancer, so try to not over worry about this.
This forum is not really meant for people with symptoms, as we would always suggest that people consult with their GP about health niggles.
So, maybe give it a week or so, to see if it clears up. Applying Arnica cream can help speed up bruises healing. If it doesn't resolve, then do ask your GP about it.
Also, it is possible to get breast infections, so if it becomes red, hot or sore, then do let your GP know promptly, as antibiotics would be needed.
