Tingling/painful lympth nodes

July I was diagnosed with melanoma, I had a biopsy and wider removal, everything in the biopsy came back clear. The last 3 days I've had pain in the area I had my lympth nodes removed, no swelling, and also pain in other lympth nodes, under my arms, jaw tingling, leg pain. Has anyone ever experienced this? I've asked the doctors they've said to go in for examination to check swelling but I'm pretty sure there isn't from what I've checked myself. I haven't got a fever, I'm well in myself.

  • Hi and thanks for the post

It won't be possible for anyone to say what this may be due to, as you really need to be examined for anyone to comment., so it's good that they have asked you to come in.

It's still not that long since your surgery and the area around where your nodes were, is still healing and so it's not necessarily unusual to get aches and pains around those areas. It's possible that the jaw and leg pain are not related , but I really can't say, not being involved in your care.

Wait to be seen and though difficult to do, try and not let your thoughts run away with you as there may not be a connection to the melanoma.

    All the best
