Hello, this is my first post since last time I used this support which was 7 years ago when I had breast cancer which was treated successfully. Yesterday I got results of my smear test which shows HPV and abnormal changes. I have so many fears and questions. Where to start ? So I'm being invited in for a colposcopy at some point. I'm a bit worried about that as I found my last smear test very painful. How painful is the biopsy if they do one ? I'm also concerned as my last smear test did not show HPV ?? Is this a new test they do ? Mostly tho I'm concerned that this is a return of the cancer I had which would be the worst news or it's another primary. I'm not expecting any answers really. Just wanted to share what's in my head. Thanks xx
