I'm so sorry for posting again! I'm just a bit overwhelmed. 

I was sent for an ultrasound scan on my neck as there was a lump there.

At my scan (08.11.21) the doctor said it was an enlarged lymph node, took two biopsies and said that my results would be fastracked 

Today (11.11.21) someone from the hospital called to invite me to an appointment with a haematology consultant. I asked why it was with the haematology dept and after a bit of back and forth checking she said she didn't know why I was being given the appointment. 

Are you able to maybe shed some light on why, after a biopsy, I would be sent to haematology?
