I am 18 years old and have found a MOVABLE lump on the right side of my neck. It doesn't hurt and is probably about the size of a pea. Is it something I should be worried about? I have found no lumps elsewhere

Hello and thanks for your post
Lumps cause a lot of anxiety, but the majority turn out to be harmless. Most neck lumps usually appear after a viral or bacterial infection even sometimes when a person feels well. They can often take several weeks for them to subside. But only a doctor can make a medical assessment so the best thing to do is to make an appointment to see your doctor if the lump doesn't settle down.
I hope you know more about your situation soon.
Kind regards,
Celene
