Lump in throat

Hi all just wandering if anyone has had anything similar

For 4 weeks now I have a sensation of something stuck in my throat it's not affecting my swallowing but it's always there I also have a sensation of phlegm running down my throat which makes the sensation worse I feel like I constantly should burp to ease the feeling but it dose not help

    I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing some unusual sensations but i'm afraid no one on the forum can tell you what this is. It would be best for you to speak to your GP, so do give them a call when you can.

    You are probably aware but most symptoms won't be caused by cancer and hopefully there is a simple explanation for this that isn't serious. Some people experience what is known as globus sensation and this can cause people to feel there is a lump in the throat even when there isn't. You can read more about this here but do speak with your doctor so you can be assessed.
