Right breast

I been having regular cyst for the last 10 years and few mammograms over the years and scans to show the cysts that are massive that I have syringe out. This time I have has excruciating pain In my right breast for a couple days now Calm down the pain but still feel slit discomfort I am really anxious and worried  I have been examine by the doctor and have appointment to the breast clinic in week or so

    A  very warm welcome to our forum.

    You do not say what age you are, but I'm sure that you possibly already know that pain seldom accompanies breast cancer, although sadly, there is no guarantee. It is also a fact that only 1 person in 8 who visit the breast clinc will get a cancer diagnosis. Pain can also be associated with hormonal changes, so here's hoping that will be a simpler solution.

    I am so sorry to hear about the problems that you have had with your breasts over the last 10 years. It does sound however like they have been properly investigated over the years.

    We can't tell you what is wrong this time but hopefully when you go to the breast clinic they will able to put your mind at rest.

    Pain is not usually associated with cancer but when any symptoms happen, such as your cyst or the discomfort that you have been experiencing, it is always a good idea to get it investigated.

    I hope that you have your appointment soon and you know more.
