                           now that you have asked the question,its time to find the answer.The only way to do this is by talking to your doctor,the blood you have seen is a visual warning that all is not well within your bowel.This does not mean its cancer,but it is included amongst a host of other possibilities,all of which need diagnosis and treatment ,putting off doing that could only make things worse.

                                                                                                                         The sensible thing is to book that appointment,l did and it saved my life,

I am sorry to learn about your symptoms. It isn't very likely to be anything serious, as it has resolved, and is not persistent. 

You may well have piles that can bleed on and off. There is NHS information here,

Sometimes a small split in the rectum can cause some bleeding, this is more common if you are constipated and pass a hard stool.

However, it would be sensible to go along and see your GP who can assess you and advise you further. While you wait for your GP appointment, you could go and see a local pharmacist within a chemist/pharmacy, who can perhaps advise you on over the counter medications such as creams to apply that may help.
