Testicular lumps are quite common and are mostly caused by cysts or knobbly veins that you can read more about here. However we always suggest if someone notices a new lump they get it checked out by their GP just to be on the safe side.

 I know it can sometimes feel embarrassing to talk about such matters but doctors are vey used to assessing this type of thing. Hopefully they can put your mind at ease but if they are unsure in any way they can refer you for an ultrasound to check it out.

Try not to worry but do speak to your doctor when you get the chance.
