I'm afraid we are unable to say what may be causing the diarrhoea, but what I can tell you is that it would be unusual at your age for it to due to cancer, particularly pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is normally an illness seen in those in a much older age group (over 60)

Waiting for tests and scans is always difficult, but searching the internet and looking up symptoms can cause more worry and concern that may well be unnecessary. The important thing is your GP is hearing you and trying to find out the cause of the diarrhoea, so you will know more soon.

Until your CT scan on Thursday try and keep yourself busy, as distraction should help the time pass quicker. But I know this is all easier said than done.
