A breakthrough one off bleeding episode is not uncommon, whilst taking HRT. But if the bleeding is heavy, or continues on, with or without pain/discomfort or other symptoms, then it is sensible to get this checked out by your GP. There is usually straightforward reasons, but it makes sense to get it assessed for peace of mind.
