Hi All
I'm sorry if I'm asking a stupid question but I'm at my wits end. I had an appointment yesterday for a 2nd assessment after my mammogram threw up something which shouldn't be there. I had a biopsy and was told that it could take up to 3 weeks for the results due to the back log. I had notification this morning on my phone that I had an appointment letter to see someone on the 28th October at the hospital outpatients. There was no other info so I googled him and he is an Oncoplastic breast surgeon. I'm now in an bit of a tizz and don't know if this is normal and if it's going to be bad news and why would I have to be seen by a breast surgeon if everything was ok and why has it been so fast when I was told 3 weeks? I'm really struggling at the moment as I'm 24 hr caring for my 53 year old sister who has terminal cancer (not breast) and has just been referred to hospice this morning so I'm an emotional wreck. xx
