Does anyone follow or have inbformatin about Controlled Amino Acid Therapy/?
Hello and thanks for your post
From what I have read Controlled Amino Acid Therapy ( CAAT) involves eating a special diet low in carbohydrates and deprived of certain amino acids to try and help as an added cancer therapy. However, there does not appear to be any scientific evidence that CAAT prevents or treats cancer.
You can read a summary of CAAT on the Memorial Sloan Kettering (a major cancer treatment centre in the USA) website at this link.
If you or someone you know decides to take any complementary treatments or supplements alongside conventional treatment do check them with your doctor first. Sometimes there are known interactions between some of these therapies and conventional medicines, it might not be known whether they have a beneficial or harmful effect.
Best wishes,
Celene
