I am sorry to hear that your son has had treatment for neck cancer.
Without being involved in his care and not having details about his operation or when he had the surgery I suggest that you get in touch with his GP, the hospital (if he has recently been discharged) or NHS111 for advice here.
There maybe no cause for concern but it is always good to get these things checked.
Thanks, Catherine, he hasn't had surgery, just chemo and radiotherapy, which finished about 7 weeks ago. He's left it too late to call the hospital, I think he'll monitor it overnight and call first thing in the morning if necessary. Thanks again.
