I have had diarrhea for 3weeks I had a stool sample and it was negative bloodtests came back ok apart from high sodium in my liver I really don't no what to do I am still unwell but can't get anywhere with doctors do I have to ask for more tests
It sounds like you need to get back to the GP again or another GP in the practice to discuss what the next step forward may be. Viruses can sometimes take a long time to go, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or inflammatory bowel conditions may also sometimes cause similar symptoms, but no one here will be able to say what your symptoms are due to.
I'm sure you must be getting very stressed by your symptoms now, so do make an appointment and go over your concerns again.
