Sex after Lletz

Hi

I am nearly 3 weeks post Lletz and will be visiting my boyfriend next week (long distance relationship). It will be over  4 weeks since I had the procedure so following all of the rules. 
 

I didn't really experience any bleeding just some blood stained discharge between day 6 and 10. There's no discharge or bleeding or anything now, so hopefully I'm healing well. 
 

My questions are: should the first post Lletz sex be gentle, or can we just do what we normally do? Should everything be healed up enough be able to have normal sex? As we haven't seen each other for 5 weeks it's likely to be a busy weekend! Ha!

Also, if I do bleed after, does that mean I can't have sex again, say the next day? These things are so unanswered in the information given. Any thoughts and advice would be very appreciated .

    It should be fine to have normal sex after four weeks. If you find it uncomfortable then you may wish to take things at a gentle pace.

    According to Jo's cervical Trust About 22 in 100 (22%) people had bleeding during or after sex, while 78 in 100 (78%) did not. You can read more about this at this link. 

    If you do experience some light bleeding after sex, then you may be fine to resume sex the next day. But if you experience heavy bleeding then it's probably advisable to wait until the bleeding stops and leave it for a a couple of days before you have sex again. If the bleeding continues, then it's probably best to contact the hospital or your GP for further advice.
