Colonoscopy Prep Help

Can someone please tell me honestly how long they stopped going to bathroom and felt "safe" after taking the Moviprep. I have got myself into such a state about that I'm in tears worrying I'll have an accident on the way there or something. The pharmacist said I won't but I have family who I am not close to taking me and I'm so worked up

    Most patients cope well with taking the preparation, before the procedure. The colonoscopy department has hopefully sent you some information about the prep and the procedure, so if you continue to be worried do call the hospital department and ask to speak with a nurse about it.

    If you are worried, then maybe set off a bit earlier, and wait a bit longer in the hospital itself.

    I would be even more concerned leaving earlier as my concern is making it an hour to the hospital after the preb as the instructions imply it should stop after 2 hours, but I have read numerous report that in can take 5-6 hours. If I can't have the procedure as I can't get to the hospital becasue I still need after the prep I will not be going in the future and trying it again.
