I have recently found 30+ new moles! All over my arms legs and tummy? Should i be concerned by this, never had them before and now there are so many and they are really dark in colour
Hi it's probably best getting them checked by a doctor. I was originally referred to dermatology with a big one on my back which looked like melanoma. Whilst I was waiting for the appointment I found loads of little ones under my breasts. I showed them to the nurse when I went to hospital and luckily all my moles turned out to be seborrhoeic keratoses. please make an appointment just to be on the safe side
Unfortunately, we can't tell you what they are. You would probably need to see your GP or send them a photo, for them to explain to you what they are.
They might well be another skin condition, and not true moles as such. Moles can develop at any time through to middle age, and sometimes alter at times of hormone level changes. Doctors tend to be more concerned with any recent changes in shape, size, colour, in individual moles.
