Lots of people worry about finding something they think is new for them- in many cases it does turn out to be part of their normal anatomy.

However, it's good that you are going to have a conversation with the GP about it though, as you are concerned.

It may also be a good idea to mention the bad anxiety that you say you have, as this must be affecting your day to day life - it can't be easy. There is help available and it may be time to look further into this. There is some good information at the following websites here    and here
