Hello there

Going through tests and needing to wait for the results can be an unsettling time but try not to over think things for now if you can.

Unfortunately even the most urgent of scans take a couple of weeks to be reported properly so I'm afraid it is unlikely to be a way in speeding things up to find out things sooner.

Hold your nerve if you can and keep yourself and your mind busy with other things as this can help and do remember there can be many reasons for symptoms and many won't be the result of a cancer.

Hi, sorry to jump in.

When you get appointment letters sometimes the hospitals send letters out for tests, discussions , results etc electronically. 
What's the date stamp on your letter?

I have a feeling your appointment letter was sent maybe even before your test date. 
If a hospital are after your urgently like next day they would contact you via phone call.

Earlier this year I had blood tests done because I was bruising for no reason. I had most symptoms for leukaemia and worried myself to the point of breaking down. I phone my GP and broke down on the phone to her. She calmed me down and explained that yes they were testing for leukaemia, but it was unlikely due to my age and even if I had it the prognosis was good. 
 

I was diagnosed with leukaemia but knowing that wasn't as bad as the worry I put myself through while waiting for results. Try get some reassurance from your GP.
