My friend has been feeling poorly for a while, lack of energy, just generally feeling unwell. He did a routine bowel test which came back as having to go for a colonoscopy, which has now been done. They found something of concern, he was sedated, still awake, just relaxed, he said they were told after that it was bowel cancer. The person who was with them was in a state of shock anyway before the news but seems to think they weren't told for sure that was what it was. I suppose my question is would they be told then and there that it was bowel cancer without having any biopsy results? Biopsies were taken at the time of the colonoscopy.
Thank you. Just trying to cling onto some hope.
