Tingling feeling in my breasts

Hi, I keep getting tingling in my breasts on and off at some point everyday. No pain just a weird feeling like cold tingling, that's the best way I can describe it.  Worried incase it's anything serious. My mum had breast cancer just over a year ago, she didn't have any lumps. She actually went in to get 1 breast checked because of the nipple and they found a fast growing tumour in the other breast.  It's probably nothing with me but just wondered if anybody else knew what this could be.

    I can appreciate your concern, given your mum's diagnosis.

    Breast tissue can become more sensitive at different times of the month, due to hormone level changes. So, it isn't usually anything to be worried about.

    Caffeine, and alcohol can affect the breast, and some women find this lessens when they reduce intake of these. 

    Also, if you do vigorous exercise, this can affect muscles in that area. Try and note when it happens to see if there is a pattern.

    If you are concerned, then do speak with your GP about it, and see what they advise.

    Thank you for replying to me. I don't drink alcohol and only have 1 or 2 cups of tea a day. I am on hrt patches as had a full hysterectomy about 6/7 years ago so I don't have any periods plus im the big 50 now but maybe the hrt patches could cause it   Thankyou once again for your reply.xx
