Lumps in thigh

Advise pls?
over the last year or so i have noticed lumps in my thighs which are not visible but can be felt and are painless. They are the size of about a 20p piece.

should i be concerned? Or should i just think fatty tissue and ignore it? Latest blood test shows a rise in d-dimers but i am unsure if i should be making a fuss or not.

Please wonderful ppl. Tell me what i should do.

  • Hi there

I'm afraid the forum cannot diagnose or say what the matter is.

As I am sure you are aware there can be many reasons for changes to occur in the body and most will be harmless. Lumps and bumps are a common ailment and most of the time will be the result of infection, pockets of fatty tissue sometimes called lipomas or swollen veins.

We always suggest if something is bothering them or it gets worse to get it checked by their GP. Doctors are the best people to assess this sort of thing and then if needed they can arrange further tests.

    Best wishes
