I am sorry to hear about your husband's situation.  I can understand how unsettling this can be waiting to find out the cause of the abnormal bloods and the rash on his legs

We can't diagnose what is causing the petechiae but hopefully with further blood tests and investigations they will know more.

There are different causes for this rash so try not to over think what it all means.

Try also to stay away from the internet which is so general and will not lead to a diagnosis. I hope that you both find out more soon.
