scan results

I was sent for an ultrasound scan almost 12 months ago, Dr carrying out the scan said I would need an operation. This went to mdt and a CTwas carried out.  Oncologist said nothing going on and to check when  glands were checked....this was done 3 weeks ago. Different Dr again said something would need to be done, just had letter from Oncologist, no further action and discharged!  

I'm confused and worried now, can I ask to see the report sent from the scan?

    I am sorry to hear about your situation and appreciate how you have been left feeling confused about everything that has gone on.

    If I were you I would try and speak to a GP at your surgery as they should also have been sent a copy of the scan report and may be able to tell you more.

    If this is not possible then you are entitled to request to see your medical records and any results and for these to be explained to you by a doctor at the hospital. You can read more about this here.
