Confused and happy

I just had my results back from my ultrasound. They said there's nothing worrying which is really good news. But i was sure there was something wrong. The doctors repeatedly told me they think I have lymphoma. I'm over the moon the results are good but very confused. In 4 weeks I get more bloods as my platelets are high. And they said if I still have itching and night sweats and my lymph nodes are still swollen I will ahve to have more tests. But I just feel like I'm waiting and waiting. It's my 18th birthday in 1 week and I'm not celebrating because I'm so worried. I know my bodY and I know something isn't right.

    It is good to know that your ultrasound scan has not shown anything worrying. It is also reassuring that the doctors are keeping an eye on you to see if you need more tests. I can appreciate that this might feel a little disconcerting. The best thing to do is try and get back to normal and keep yourself busy yourself with every day things and do remember that there may be nothing (serious) the matter.

    I hope you are getting support from your family and friends and try not to google your symptoms as this cannot diagnose you. Please enjoy your 18th birthday.
