There isn't specifically a time frame for when a biopsy needs to be done post scan but there government guidelines on treatment and diagnoses. Unfortunately we are aware at the moment there may be delays within the system from the impact of the corona virus pandemic. I am unable to say if this is this is the case in your situation, but I've provided a link here with further information.

I wonder whether you have any contact details for the breast clinic where you were seen to be able to ring them and see if there is an appointment on the system for you. Also it maybe worth mentioning that if there are any last minute cancellations you are able to take them. If you feel there are changes in your breast since you were first seen it may also be good to speak to your GP again and update them about what is happening.
