Waiting for results (biopsy/, CT and MRI)

I'm a 31 year old woman. Was found by chance to have severe anaemia a few weeks ago.

I then had an endoscopy and colonoscopy last weekend. The colonoscopy found polyps in my sigmoid colon. They didn't remove them but biopsied them. I was told we need to wait for the biopsy results to know if its cancer or not.

I'm just so worried. Reading into any reaction or test for any implication and hint towards diagnosis.

Tomorrow I'm expecting a call to tell me if I will get answers next week or the following week

    I am sorry to hear you have undergone some tests and are awaiting some biopsy results since finding out you have anaemia.

    I appreciate this must be an anxious time for you but unfortunately no one is going to be able to tell you any more until the results are in.

    Sit tight for now and keep yourself busy and your mind on other things if you can as this can help. Hopefully you will get the results soon but in the meantime avoid googling online as comparing other people's stories to your own can be difficult as the end result may not end up the same as your own.
