Hi just read your post and sorry you are suffering with anxiety.

You say you had symptoms that have now subsided such as dioreah,  and next to no appetite, weight loss. The weight loss would definitely happen if you've been experiencing dioreah and being sick,so that would account for that.  You then say your stools are  solid now for the last 2 days, which is good. You say you were checked over  by a doctor at your local hospital and they couldn't find anything wrong with you  and didn't think it was anything to do with cancer ,or to worry about, which is a good positive thing,as they do know what to look for.

You also say you have been prescribed anti nausea medication, so hopefully that has helped with that.

You have said you know you suffer,  with severe anxiety  and I think that it is this thats making you feel the way you do and that there's  nothing sinister going on, so try to look for all the positives in life, rather than the negatives. Try taking your mind off of it,I kniw its hard as it really can be a case of mind over matter.

But obviously I'm not a doctor ,just trying to help you look at life in a more positive way. But if you realy do start to feel unwell, and symptoms return or seem to get worse, then by all means get a second oppinion to put your mind at rest. Good luck ,hooe you feel better soon.

  • Hi Arron

    Thanks for posting

Having severe anxiety can be very debilitating and I'm sorry that you are suffering with this. I do hope you are seeing someone for help with this as your GP can help you find support . It's most probably best not to go on cancer forums as this will only increase the anxiety you already have.

There may be more help available at the following websites here    and here

It's the time of year when many different viruses start and symptoms like these are not unusual. It must have been very reassuring also to hear the doctor who examined you, say all is well.

Try and put it behind you if you can and focus if you can on other things in your life by keeping busy and occupied.

    All the best

    Wanda
