stomach cancer/colon cancer

Hi all, really need some advice ,

So ive had really bad alternating stools.

started around 3 weeks ago, very burning stools and then burning in stomach . that has now gone but im getting full after meals and bowels have alot more mucous in them

i have done one stool sample for infection etc and all clear . today gp has requested a fcalp stool sample.

i have no bleeding and no weightloss which is good and stools are not pencil shaped etc .

ive had 3 previous cameras and endoscopies where nothing but two colon polyps were found and not cancerous.

the pain above the navel is also a concern but there is no lump just tender

thanks

  • Hello cwatkins139 and thanks for posting,

I am sorry to learn about the unpleasant symptoms that you are having and can understand you wanting to get some idea about what might be causing them.  Unfortunately, we aren't able to diagnose anyone, so our usual advice is to talk to your GP and get their input which you have already done - it seems like they are looking into things for you and I hope that they can tell you more soon.

People with unexplained symptoms often worry about having cancer, but most times there are several other things that could be the matter.  Try not to worry unduly and keep an open mind but be sure to talk over your test results with your GP.

    Best wishes,

    Julia
