Hi does it mean anything that it is only 1 week from actual mammogram to referral letter, the appt which will be next Monday. All in less than a fortnight. Is there any significance in things happening quickly?
It's difficult to comment on this as every clinic will have different approaches. It may depend on how busy they are and how quickly they have been able to see people.
I know it's easy for your mind to race ahead when you get an appointment through quickly, but it's not possible to second guess this - it may work either way.
It's a case of just waiting to be seen, which I appreciate may be a very difficult time for you.
