Advice on lump

A few months ago I posted on here about a lump I'd had for a while, the bloods were clear and I had it checked again. However over the last weekend it has become increasingly sore and slightly larger, does anyone know what this means??

  • Hi [@Tilly111]

Firstly, breathe. You've got this. Hope you're doing okay and not getting too anxious.

I'm unsure what you discussed on your last post but I'd recommend booking a GP appointment. If you're anxious about a breast lump, they may well refer you to a breast clinic for a check up and ultrasound to ensure everything is okay. Do not panic.

Although I'm no medical professional, it may be a fibroaedenoma or cyst if it is painful. Think about if/ when it becomes more tender (menstrual cycle?) and chat to GP. You'll be in good hands but we can't advise here other than to get it checked.

You know your body and clearly recognise this change so try not to sit on it and call your doc tomorrow. Although nerve wracking, it's best to have it looked at. Sending loads of love.

  • Hello and thanks for your post

I appreciate you had this lump checked but it is always a good idea to go back and see the GP when you notice further changes. The chances are that this may be nothing to worry about like before but it's always a good idea to get it checked out just to be on the safe side.

Your GP will examine you and decide if anything needs to be done.

I hope you know more about your situation soon.

    Kind regards,

    Celene
