Hi, I had an operation to remove a cancerous lump from my breast and they also took two lymph nodes for testing. Operation was last Thursday, now the back of my arm has altered sensation - almost numb - is that normal??
Yes, it can happen. It may be due to some superficial nerve fibre damage from the surgery itself. It is early days in your recovery, so give it time to resolve, as your body starts to recover and heal.
If it worsens, or changes, then do let your GP, or your hospital team know.
