Lump in nose

Hi I noticed a small lump inside my nostril 8 weeks ago my gp gave me cream to use for 10 days but the lump kept growing i was then given antibiotics for a week these did nothing the lump is still growing inside and now outside my nostril it's hard and fixed not painful or inflamed but now 3 times bigger should I have a urgent referral as they don't know the cause.

    I'm sorry you are worried about a lump on your nose.

    Lumps cause a lot of anxiety, but the majority turn out to be harmless. It's not possible to say what the lump may be due to, and whether you need to have an urgent or routine referral to the hospital. Only your doctor can decide this, so the best thing is to go back and see your doctor and let them know that the cream and antibiotics haven't improved things. They will assess you and advise if anything else needs to be done.

    Hi thank you for your reply, I am seeing ent tomorrow as the lump is growing and pushing my nose out of shape, hope I get some answers,
