It's not really going to be possible to say what the specialist may have found and also whether it was anything of concern. Biopsies are taken so the cells can be looked at in the laboratory under the microscope , and can show in thorough detail exactly what sort of cells they are,  and if any more tests may be needed.

It's hard waiting for results but this at the moment is all you can do. Try and not let your thoughts run away with you and just wait for the biopsy results.

Yeah totally. I've got an appointment with gynae consultant on Wednesday after an abnormal bleed. Doc said it's from my cervix and there was something she wasn't happy with. Not sure what will happen on Wednesday but think colposcopy. I felt fine before but the past few days have got abdo and leg pain and feel a burning feeling like the start of a UTI. My mind is in overdrive. I'm 44 and similar to u lost my mum when she was in her 40s. That's always played on my mind.

Good luck for Wednesday,  At my first appointment they told me I would need a scan and colposcopy but this was arranged and happened at a later date. X
