People will have many different experiences with their moles - many won't turn out to be a problem, some will be a non aggressive type of skin cancer and a smaller proportion may turn out to be more serious.

I'm afraid it's going to be a case of waiting to be seen, examined and potentially either having a biopsy or having it removed to know exactly what is going on. I realise there is a lot of waiting and this can be very hard. Try and not google as inevitably lots of different symptoms usually will come up with cancer and the internet isn't  able to diagnose people. It will also just raise your anxiety.

So keep busy , don't overthink things , especially while you still haven't been seen and try to avoid looking things up.
