A hard lump above your collarbone that is growing and doesn't move needs to be checked properly, especially when you already have stage 3 cervical cancer. The lump may be nothing to do with cancer, but it is important that your doctors check it out just to be sure.

Your other symptoms such as severe fatigue, sweats and hot flushes, and passing out also need to be assessed. They could be related to your cancer, treatment, an infection, anaemia, hormonal changes or another health problem.

Do contact your clinical nurse specialist (CNS) or oncology team again today and tell them that you are very concerned about your clavicle lump that is increasing in size and your other symptoms which need to be reviewed as soon as possible. If you are unable to get a response, do contact the acute oncology service/cancer helpline associated with your hospital, if there is one, or contact your GP.

I hope you know more soon. Give us a ring if you would like to talk anything over. The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

    Kind regards,
