Hi,
I hope you can help with some terminology?
My recent Contrast CT scans have shown sclerotic areas on my spine, which I have been told were not on the original scans (back in Nov onwards). The consultant believes that this is due to the areas response in chemo/targeted therapy. But I'm confused.
What is sclerosis?
why should this only start to show up due to "healing" e.g. cancer cells shrinking?
thank you
wanda
