I'm sorry you're going through a difficult time at the moment and can appreciate being in constant pain for the past 6 months, and waiting for CT scan results, must be very stressful and worrying.

It might be a good idea to contact the GP surgery again in a week or so to ask whether the CT scan report has come back. Ask if the GP can review the report and call you, rather than waiting another few weeks for an appointment. Do explain that the pain has been constant for 6 months and that the uncertainty is causing you a lot of anxiety, and see what they have to say.

Do go back and see your GP sooner if the pain gets worse or you develop a temperature.
