I am sorry to hear about your husbands cancer relapse, this is understandably a difficult and worrying time for you both.

Try and take each day as it comes if you can. The team looking after him will take care of your husband and will be closely monitoring him and any side effects so they can help him manage these through his treatment.

The road ahead may feel like a long one and that's why taking things one step at a time is a better way of getting through this time. Having friends and family around to also support practically and emotionally can also be invaluable at ties like these, so don't be afraid to ask for support.

Do ask the specialist team involved in your husbands care any questions you have. If you are worried about any aspects of his treatment before or during do let the doctors and nurses involved know so they can explain things to you.

There is usually a cancer support centre within large cancer centres that offer support to both patients and loved ones on a cancer journey. You can search these up and other local cancer support locally by post code on the cancer care map.
