So I’ve had high risk HPV for 4 years now (recently found out it’s 18 and 45.) After repeated changes in cells I was offered a LLETZ procedure. Had that in May. Messed me up mentally and also physically more than I expected. Results of that were CIN1. If I’d know CIN1 I might not have had the LLETZ at that time. So I expect to have to go f another colpo in October and am anticipating they may offer another LLETZ. I really don’t want to go down the same route to get the same result. My question is around a biopsy. If I ask them to do a biopsy first, do they do a punch biopsy or cone biopsy. I have seen both come up and I’m not sure what they would normally do as one seems more invasive than the other..?
