It should be fine to colour your hair before and after radiotherapy. However, you may find that your skin may be more sensitive, so it's always best to do a patch test first and leave it for a while to see if you develop any skin reactions.
Some people move to more natural dyes like henna or vegetable extract dyes, which you could discuss with your hairdresser.
