Face to face appointment after post-surgery follow-up CT scan: Routine?

Hello all, I have a really simple question that I just can't find the answer to.
I had a radical cystectomy last October for bladder cancer. All went well, good recovery, no sign of residual cancer. I had my first post-op CT scan about 5 weeks ago and have just received an appointment to see a member of the urology team in 3 week's time. My question is: Is it routine to have a face-to-face appointment after a follow-up CT scan? I see lots of people talking about "getting their results" after CT scans, but nobody says how they got them...

    A follow-up CT scan around the first year after surgery is a standard part of surveillance after bladder cancer treatment, and appointments are generally combined with those scans. The most likely reason for the appointment is to tell you the result, check how you are, and discuss any concerns you may have.
