Biopsy results by telephone

Hi, I had a lump growing in my abdomen which I had surgically removed 3 weeks ago. I got the histology results after 12 working days but it's only a week and a half later am I getting a telephone call with the results of biopsy. The fact it is over phone must mean it's good news right?

    Individual hospitals vary in the way patients receive their results.

    I don't think anyone can presume that because they’re going to receive their results over the telephone that everything should be okay. Hopefully, everything will be, but you will need the specialist to confirm this for sure.
