I am sorry to hear about the pain that you have been experiencing. If you haven't made an appointment yet it maybe helpful to get the GP to examine the area. You may find that you have pulled a muscle and some gentle stretching exercises may help but it would be good to get it examined.

Your GP may suggest a referral to a physio if the pain doesn't clear up.

It may also be a good idea to see if paracetamol helps settle the pain.
