I'm very sorry to read about your dad's' death. I appreciate this must still be an incredible difficult time for you.
At Cancer Research UK we primarily fund cancer research and clinical trials. We do not provide hospital services, and we do not have clinical doctors working here, so we are unable to provide you with a medical opinion. As a result it's very difficult for us to comment on the events leading up to your dad's death as we were not involved in his care.
When you have unanswered questions like this, we would usually advise you to speak to the team involved in your dad's care at the hospital or his GP. They are better placed to advise you as they and will be in a better position to answer your questions as they will have access to all your dad's medical records.
