  • Hello and thanks for posting

I'm sorry you're having such a difficult time. From what you've described, it sounds as though these symptoms are having a real impact on your quality of life.

The symptoms can sometimes be linked to low testosterone levels, particularly if you are receiving hormone treatments. They commonly cause fatigue, hot flushes or heat intolerance, sleep problems, reduced sex drive, anxiety, and mood changes

It would be a good idea to speak to your cancer specialist, GP or cancer nurse specialist, especially as the symptoms have been getting worse over the last nine months.

In the meantime, try to be kind to yourself and pace activities through the day, try gentle daily exercise, such as walking, if you're able to. This can sometimes improve both fatigue and sleep. Keep cool in hot weather and aim to keep your bedroom cool and avoid caffeine late in the day.

I hope this has been of some help. Give us a ring if you would like to talk anything over. The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

    Kind regards,

    Celene
