  • Hello and thanks for your post,

Finding a breast lump or breast change can cause a lot of anxiety and I can understand how unsettling it can be.

However the vast majority of breast lumps found are not cancer. There are many benign breast conditions such as fibroadenoma and breast cysts.

Do book to see your GP and they can assess you and advise further.

    I hope that this helps,

If you would like to talk any of this through with one of the helpline nurses then you are welcome to give us a call.

The number to ring is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm.

    All the best,
