LLTEZ still bleeding..period or procedure

Hi

I had my LLETZ procedure on 12th May. I had the expected bleeding as expected and it stopped bang on 4 weeks. Then 4 days later bleeding started again and it has been 7 days now and still flowing, wondering if its my period or do I need to get checked over?

No foul smells so not worried its an infection.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing some further bleeding following your LLETZ.

    It’s reassuring that there are no signs of infection, such as an unpleasant smell, and it may be that this is your period. However, if you are at all concerned, it would be a good idea to contact the colposcopy unit or your GP so they can assess you if needed.
